Who we are

AirRomania.com is operated by Foodspot ApS, CVR 45487652, Vandets Kvarter 1, 4700 Næstved, Denmark. Foodspot ApS is the data controller for this website. Contact for anything in this notice: info@airromania.com. AirRomania is an independent travel-information service. It is not an airline, not a travel agency and not the merchant of record for any journey. We do not take bookings or payments on this site.

What we collect

Nothing you send us. The site has no accounts, no newsletter and no comments. The journey search on the front page runs entirely in your browser: what you type there is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not stored.

Technical data when you visit. Like any website, our hosting provider receives the technical information your browser sends when it requests a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and browser/device type. This is used only to deliver the pages, keep the service secure and diagnose faults.

We set no cookies until you choose to allow them, and nothing is loaded before you answer. A reader who declines, or who never answers, is never measured and never has a cookie written by us. If you do allow it, we load Google Analytics 4 to count which pages are read, and it writes two cookies. Whatever you choose, there is no advertising here, no advertising cookie, and no social media plug-in anywhere on the site. What the two cookies do, and how to change your mind, is set out on the cookies page.

Who processes the data

Vercel Inc. (hosting, USA) delivers the site and holds the technical request logs described above. Vercel processes this data under its Data Processing Agreement with EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Google Ireland Limited, together with Google LLC in the United States, processes the measurement data if you allow it. Google acts as our processor under the Google Analytics data processing terms, which incorporate the EU Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfer to the United States. If you never allow it, nothing reaches Google at all, because nothing is loaded before you answer.

Zoho Corporation (e-mail, EU data centre) handles e-mail you send to info@airromania.com.

We do not sell or share data with anyone else.

Legal basis

We rely on our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a secure, functioning website for the technical data above, and on the same basis for answering e-mail you choose to send us.

For measurement we rely on your consent, GDPR art. 6(1)(a), and on the consent the ePrivacy rules require before anything is stored on or read from your device. That is why the question comes before anything loads rather than after it. You can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and withdrawing is exactly as easy as agreeing. It does not undo measurement that already happened, but it stops any further measurement at once.

How long we keep it

Hosting request logs are retained by Vercel for a short technical period and then deleted. E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted. Measurement data, where you allowed it, is held by Google Analytics for fourteen months and then deleted automatically. We have switched on nothing that extends that.

Our pages link to official sources we cite (for example airport operators) and, where stated, to partner sites. Once you leave AirRomania.com, the other site’s privacy notice applies. We do not control what they collect.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to processing, or ask for it to be restricted or transferred. Write to info@airromania.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

Changes

We will update this notice when the site changes what it does. The date at the top tells you when it was last revised.
